Angelina Jolie claimed that Brad Pitt had physically and verbally abused her

Several years ago, Angelina claimed to an FBI agent that Brad Pitt had physically and verbally abused her and their kids on the plane. According to notes made by an FBI agent, Brad allegedly led Angelina to the back of the aircraft at that time, gripped her shoulders, and said things like, “You’re f***** up this family.”

Another physical altercation allegedly took place on that same aircraft, according to Angelina. She was hurt, especially her elbow. Brad allegedly splashed beer on Angelina since he was intoxicated at the time, according to Angelina. However, Brad’s team has refuted each and every charge.

Angelina secretly sued Brad Pitt

Angelina secretly sued the FBI under the Freedom of Information Act in order to collect records pertaining to the federal investigation of Brad after a special agent met with the assistant US attorney and decided they would not press charges (Federal Bureau of Investigation).

Prior to this, the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services were reportedly looking into Brad in 2016 for child abuse following an incident that took place on his family’s private plane. He allegedly assaulted their 15-year-old son Maddox after he broke up a fight between Brad and Angelina.

At the time, Brad’s team denied to People magazine that he had harmed his son in a statement. The declaration read,  “He is emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse, that no one was physically harmed. He did not hit his child in the face in any way. Brad did not do that; he is emphatic about that. He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was spiralling out of control.”
