If a movie about her life were to ever be made, the late actress Anne Heche had stated that she would like seeing Miley Cyrus play her.
Anne wants Miley Cyrus to play the leads in a biopic
The late actress chose Kristen Bell and Miley to play the leads in a biopic on an episode of the podcast “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” from January, seven months before she was killed in a vehicle accident.
When asked who would play her on screen, Anne Heche responded, “I’ve already thought about it. Miley Cyrus or Kristen Bell … The two of them share a personality ability to face the world the way that I would want, that I feel like I have and would want portrayed.”
The two actors would be able to “pull off the humour that I have,” according to Anne Heche, and accurately portray “the journey that I’ve gone through.”
When asked what attracted her to Miley, Anne applauded her for forging a successful music and acting career after leaving her Disney child star background behind.
Anne said, “The ability for her to be able to pull off I’ve seen her in ‘Hannah Montana’. To be able to do that, to be able to express that, to be able to be as bold as she’s been – going from Disney into, you know, ‘Wrecking Ball’ …”
“The way she moves, the way she sings, her voice, her compassion, (the way) she f****** loves everyone. Her ability to get out on stage and sing a cappella … And I think she’s a f****** great actress.”
Anne had collaborated with Kristen
She had collaborated with Kristen in the 2004 television film “Gracie’s Choice,”. She claimed to recognise a lot of similarities between the two women.
Anne stated: “Kristen Bell gave me my second Emmy nomination. She and I played a mother and daughter in a Lifetime movie years ago … I see myself a lot in her. I don’t think it was any mistake that I played her mom, and I want her to play me.”
Despite being taped in January, the podcast was just made available on Tuesday (16.08.22).
On August 14, Anne Heche passed away, nine days after suffering catastrophic injuries in a vehicle accident.
After sustaining a serious anoxic brain damage on August 12, the “Donnie Brasco” actress was deemed “legally dead according to California law,” but her family wished to hold off on ending her life support until organ donor matches had been made.
