Jennifer Grey, who starred in the iconic film Dirty Dancing, is demonstrating she still has it 35 years later.
Jennifer Grey of Dirty Dancing still has it 35 years later
The former Dancing With the Stars champion gave fans a sneak peek at her fitness routine earlier this summer on June 21. She boldly displayed her abs while using her gym equipment in the comfort of her living room while donning a grey sports bra, black leggings, and sneakers.
“So many of you said you’d be interested in joining my trainer, peter park (@platinumfitsb), and me for our regular workout,” she captioned the video on Instagram. “I’m excited to share with you the secret weapon of so many elite athletes, as well as my strategy for staying out of pain.”
Jennifer’s fans praised her
Without missing a beat, Jennifer’s fans praised the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off actress for her commitment to working out wherever she goes. Many people commented on the 62-year-old actress’ Instagram post to compliment how beautiful they thought she looked.
“OK I just went to see dirty dancing in the movie theater after 35 years and you literally look the exact same woman you are gorgeously stunning,” one person wrote. “Nobody puts these abs in a corner,” another added referencing a popular scene in the movie. “Wow thats hardcore! Well done ,” a different fan commented.
Jennifer has been candid about the future steps in her career despite being in her sixties. The first Dirty Dancing sequel was announced in July 2020, however she recently talked about additional developments. Her main point of view? How it will feel to shoot without her co-star Patrick Swayze, who passed away in September 2009 from pancreatic cancer.
“I can’t tell you much, sadly, but I will tell you that it will involve Baby,” she told Entertainment Weekly in August. “It will involve Kellerman’s. There will be music. Unless there’s a lot of CGI, Baby’s going to be a little older. It’s going to be Kellerman’s, music, dancing, love story, romance.”
Jennifer further stated: “I’m just so super committed and invested in making it a fresh [take]. What happened happened, and that will never happen again. There will never be another Johnny. There will never be another Patrick. This sequel has got to be its own standalone piece. It’s very tricky.”
