Kit Harington saved himself from receiving a speeding ticket

We are aware that fame has benefits and drawbacks, but numerous A-list celebrities have shown that fame can also be used for good. Just take a look at Leonardo DiCaprio, who used his platform to launch a charity that promotes environmental preservation.

Kit Harington took advantage of Jon Snow’s fame

Although that may be more general, Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington previously took advantage of Jon Snow’s fame for a personal purpose. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2016, the Eternals celebrity discussed how he was able to escape receiving a speeding ticket by disclosing whether or not Aegon Targaryen will die.

Kit Harington claimed that a police officer stopped him because he was  “being a bit naughty and going over the speed limit.” The actor then shared that the police, who was a GOT fan, gave him two options to choose from. “You can either follow me back to the police station now where I’ll book you in, or you can tell me whether you (Jon Snow) live in the next [season] of Game of Thrones,” Kit told.

He is alive next season

“I have to tell you, whether I take you into the police station depends on what your answer is,” Harington. So, the actor answered: “I looked at him, and went, ‘I’m alive next season.’” To this, the cop replied, “On your way Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the Wall.”
