The performer, whose real name was Theadore Brown, passed away on August 12 at a private residence in Rancho Mirage, California, according to information provided by the Riverside County, California coroner’s office.

According to a police spokeswoman, on the morning of August 12, officers responded to a call reporting a death at a residence in the village in the desert. The official continued, “The cause of death isn’t known.” The coroner’s office reported that the case is still being investigated.
