When the 76-year-old Cher posted a picture of a diamond engagement ring on Twitter on Christmas Day, it fuelled speculation that she had proposed to her 36-year-old boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards.

The rock she is flashing looks exactly like the kind of thing you get when someone wants to marry you, so we’re not sure which one it is.
The singer shared a photo of a huge diamond ring on Sunday, which she claims was her boyfriend Alexander A.E. Edwards gave her for Christmas. While the ring could fit on any finger, there is a lot of speculation that it may be meant for THAT finger. She shared a photo of the pear-shaped sparkler, writing, “THERE R NO WORDS, Alexander AE.”

Cher & Alexander Dating Rumours
When they were seen holding hands while out on a date in Los Angeles in November, the singer revealed that she was seeing the music mogul. In September, the couple had their first encounter at Paris Fashion Week.

On The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher talked about her relationship and their 40-year age difference. She admitted many things about Alexander.
“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”
“He’s very kind, he’s very smart, he’s very talented and he’s really funny and I think he’s quite handsome.”
“If I hadn’t met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date because older men just didn’t like me all that much,” she continued. “I have had a couple of boyfriends that were hovering around my age, but they just didn’t like me for some reason. Maybe, I’m too, younger men don’t care if you’re funny or outrageous or want to do stupid things and you have a strong personality. I’m not giving up my personality for anybody.”

The Classical Journey
The famous musician has already been married twice. From 1964 until 1975, she was married to Sonny Bono, and from 1975 to 1979, she was wed to Gregg Allman. The two broke up in August 2021 after AE admitted to cheating on her with 12 different women. AE and Amber Rose had previously been linked.
