During his unexpected Yeezy Season 9 fashion show in Paris on Monday, Kanye West, conservative commentator Candace Owens, and at least one model were all spotted wearing shirts with the phrase “White Lives Matter” printed on the back.
Wearing the contentious clothing, Kanye gave his Yeezy presentation. The conservative commentator Candace Owens, who wore the same shirt in white to the show, also included it in a photo that she posted on Twitter.

Kanye West Speech In The Fashion Business
Before the models arrived, West delivered a speech while sporting the same bejewelled flip-flops he wore last week and a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt with the Pope’s face on the front.
Kanye covered a wide range of topics in his address, including classism in the fashion business. The rapper said, “People feel like they have the right to come to my face and call me crazy. Like it doesn’t hurt my feelings. Or like, you don’t have to be crazy in order to change the world”, via People. While everything was going on, internet users could not stop talking about Kanye’s controversial clothing in light of the “White Lives Matter” movement.
Kanye West Tells His Vision For The Runway Show
“There’s just people. From the same planet. And sometimes, in high school, it feels like we don’t fit in. And in a situation like this, we have the opportunity to come together to express who we are,” West told Vogue of his vision for the runway ahead of the show.
“It’s leaning into the shape of how I see this future world … this alternate world. But in high school. It’s focused on curriculum because both my parents are educators.”

The Previous Phrase
In 2013, in reaction to the Black Lives Matter movement, white supremacist and far-right organisations promoted the phrase, which is often referred to as “All Lives Matter.”
Generally, others remembered him making the iconic “MAGA” hat visit to the White House. In 2013, West sparked controversy by donning a blazer with the Confederate flag on it.
Kanye West Defines The Struggle Of Life
Kanye West made numerous allusions, including to his 2016 Paris robbery ex-wife Kim Kardashian, his former manager Scooter Braun, his difficulties breaking into the fashion industry, his most recent breakup with Gap, and much more.
West started the show with a speech decrying the struggles he faced in the fashion industry.
“I am Ye, and everyone here knows that I am the leader,” he said at one point, referencing his new legal name. “You can’t manage me.”

Kanye West Referenced Celebs
The 41-year-old Kardashian, Irina Shayk, their current flame Candice Swanepoel, and other well-known figures like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Lauryn Hill, Naomi Campbell, Emily Ratajkowski, Gisele Bündchen, Bella Hadid, and Amelia Gray Hamlin were among the famous models who Ye teased would make appearances before the show.
While the Russian model watched from the side while the other two walked the runway, it seems that only Shayk, Campbell, and Hamlin made an appearance.

Kanye West In London
Over the past week, West has been attending fashion shows in Paris and London. On Sunday, he even made his runway debut as a model by introducing the Balenciaga show. Therefore, the star’s trip down the slick runway was watched by Khloé Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and his daughter North West from the front row.

Previous Yeezy fashion presentations have been disasters, with attendees having to wait for hours in the sweltering sun, models collapsing, and other mishaps. But this is the first time that West has presented his collections at Paris Fashion Week.
