Now, 2022 was an underwhelming year for movies but if we keep the Post-Pandemic world scenario in mind, it did overall amazing. From hitting good numbers to blessing us with great movies, it had everything. But now as we are approaching a more stable world, we can expect a tidy bit more from the movies of 2023.
Now as we have already published an article on the upcoming Comic Book movies of 2023 earlier, I will exclude the movies coming from the productions of MCU and DC studios. Here are 4 movies that might excite you in the year 2023.
1.Creed III
The Rocky franchise was rejuvenated in 2015 after the release of Creed. With Sylvester Stallone announcing his retirement from the role of Rocky Balboa, it seemed that Creed II will be the dusk of the franchise.
But to entertain the fans, Michael B. Jordan is back not only as an actor, but as a producer as well as occupying the director’s chair.
Beside him, the credits will hold names such as Tessa Thompson, Jonathan Majors, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad.
The ninth installment of the Rocky franchise, Creed III will hit the theaters on March 3rd.

2. John Wick: Chapter 4
Keanu Reeves. John Wick franchise. It is like the cream of commercial films, the action-packed cinemas.
John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin. And we will be with him on this journey.
Though the later chapters had a sloppy story, Reeves sort of makes it up with his acting and we hope this won’t be an exception as it will be hitting the theaters on 24th March
3. Oppenheimer
Science and Nolan is like the peanut butter and jelly for movies, nothing works better than this combination. And now he is back with the story of J Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project which will lead to the invention and testing of Atom Bomb.
And after his performance in Peaky Blinders, Fans are buzzing to see him on the big screen along with beloved figure RDJ.
With stunning graphics and a compact story, this movie has the potential to fly to the sky. Oppenheimer will be released on July 21st.

4. Barbie
A movie based on the best selling toys. Barbie will be in the theaters on July 21st and will give a massive competition to Oppenheimer.
Starcast such as Margot Robbie playing the role of Barbie, Ryan Gosling portraying Ken, Simu Liu will create something magical.
Greta Gerwig will be occupying the director’s chair, and with cinemas like Little Women, Francis Ha and Lady Bird, she won’t disappoint. We can hope Barbie will add another feather to her hat.
This year will be one of the most exciting years to be a fan of movies. As the world is getting back to its old pace, the movie Industry won’t be an exception to this. And with movies like Dune:Part 2, The Hunger Games, Equalizer 3 and the names mentioned above, we would have a literal feast.
