Breaking! Kanye West Instagram account restricted after 'anti-Jewish' post

Ye, a rapper formerly known as Kanye West, has had access to his Instagram account restricted as a result of a post that some organisations have dubbed “anti-Jewish.”

Accordingly, a representative for Meta claims that Instagram restricted access to Ye’s account and removed content from his Instagram page after the business claimed that the rapper had broken its policies.

Meta On Kanye West

The decision was made after Ye made a now-deleted post on Friday that one group is labelling anti-Semitic. Meta did not specify what content was specifically removed from the account and what content broke their rules.

Ye included a screenshot of a text conversation he claimed to have had with Sean “Diddy” Combs in the tweet, along with the statement “Jesus is Jew.”

Kanye West 2nd Time Restricted By Meta

This is not the rapper’s first run-in with Instagram’s reprimands. In March, West received a 24-hour suspension for disobeying the company’s hate speech, harassment, and bullying standards. After attacking the rapper’s ex, Kim Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, D.L. Hughley, and Trevor Noah of The Daily Show with racial slurs, Meta decided to take an Instagram hiatus.

Kanye West On Fox Show

In a recent appearance on Fox News, West responded to people who questioned his mental health in the wake of his current controversy.

“They keep on using the, ‘Oh, he’s crazy, he’s crazy’ thing. And it hurts my feelings when people say that,” West admitted on the show. “It hurts my feelings that people can ask, ‘Hey, are you okay?'”

AJC Instagram Post

An anti-hate organisation, the American Jewish Committee (AJC), published a video Friday describing Ye’s comments as anti-Semitic. The post’s title stated, “These posts are harmful.” In the film, AJC referred to Ye’s Fox News appearance and his Instagram post as examples of how he was employing “anti-Semitic stereotypes like money and control.”
