Actress Julia Roberts claims that her acting career “never” engulfed her. Even while she acknowledged that her job in showbiz has been a “dream come true,” she claimed in a recent interview that what provides her the most “pleasure” is her home life.

On Sunday, Julia Roberts talked openly about her family life and gushed about her husband Daniel Moder and their three kids.

The 54-year-old award-winning actress has been married to a 53-year-old cinematographer for more than 20 years.

Julia Roberts On Her Career 

Julia told CBS Sunday Morning viewers: ‘When I’m not working, [being a homemaker] is my full-time job. It isn’t rainbows and kittens every day, but it does bring me a lot of joy.

"It's just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but it is not my only dream come true."
"The life that I have built with my husband [and] the life that we've built with our children, that's the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them."

Julia Roberts Life 

Julia, who wed Daniel in 2002, claimed that her husband-to-be writes her love notes, which she saves “tucked away” to one day share with her daughter.

At 54, Julia Roberts is still a stunning woman. Five times in a row, she was named “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” by People magazine. However, Campbell High School in Smyrna, Georgia? Not even a close second.

After graduating in 1985, she moved to New York City with her sister Lisa, a promising performer; their older brother Eric Roberts had already made a name for himself there. But selling running shoes was her objective; acting was not.

“It’s something Danny and I have always done,” she continued. I still have the seven-page letter he wrote me in the very first letter he ever wrote.

Hazel and Phinnaeus, the couple’s identical twins, and Henry, their son, are their three children.

The Pretty Women actress gushed that her daughter Hazel, 17, is “one of a kind” and referred to Henry, 15, as her “breakfast friend.” She said: ‘I always think that they all look like me, and then Danny comes home from work, and I go, “Oh, you, that’s who they look like”. ‘One day I’ll show it to [my daughter] Hazel and say, “That’s what you’re looking for.”‘

Hazel On Julia Dress 

The star-studded actress from Notting Hill remembers her daughter’s mini-me rummaging through her closet in search of a prom dress.

Hazel made her red carpet debut last year with her father at the Flag Day premiere at the Cannes Film Festival despite the dress not fitting.

After spending $8.3 million on a Victorian home in the Presidio Heights district that is more than 100 years old, Julia and Daniel relocated from Malibu to San Francisco in 2020.
