About ‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ Show

My Big Fat Fabulous Life, which debuted on TLC in 2015, introduced viewers to Whitney and her mother. Every season of the show, which had its tenth season finale air in October 2022, heavily featured Barbara.

Whitney’s battles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which initially caused her to gain over 100 pounds in just a few years, were chronicled on the show.

She later lost a sizable portion of that weight, but she has emphasised both on and off the show that she is more concerned with her mental health and discovering how to accept her body than with her size or weight.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, her husband Glenn, and their son Hunter, who both frequently appear on the reality series.
