Hollywood icon Johnny Depp most recent appearance sans beard has drawn the attention of his followers on the Internet. So it appears that Edward Scissorhands put his hands to good use.

After shaving off his well-known beard, the actor seems practically unrecognisable, according to Mirror. Depp debuted his brand-new clean-shaven appearance while on tour with his friend and Jeff Beck, following a performance in New York City.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor appeared in court some months ago during his defamation battle against ex-wife Amber Heard. Then he looked drastically different on that time.

Johnny is now sporting a clean-shaven look.

After being known for decades for rocking his trademark moustache and facial hair, Johnny is suddenly sporting a clean-shaven appearance.

Reports On Johnny Depp Look

According to Mirror, Johnny was spotted in New York City after his most recent performance wearing a wide pair of blue-tinted sunglasses that covered most of his face and a baker boy hat with blue stripes.

The Hollywood actor looked almost unrecognisable.

Because of the change in appearance, admirers who had gathered outside to greet the celebrity might have thought the actor was someone else.

It further claims that after most recent performance with Jeff Beck, the actor met with fans, signed autographs for them.

New Look For New Project 

His new appearance is the result of the recent revelation that the explosive defamation case involving Depp and Amber would be the subject of film.

Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial, a movie about the trial, will explore the relationship between the actor and his ex-wife.

On September 30, it will make its premiere exclusively on the free Tubi streaming service.

Movie Star Cast 

Mark Hapka, who played Depp on Days of Our Lives, Megan Davis, as Heard on American Horror Story, feature in movie. Camille Vasquez, played by Melissa Marty, will represent Depp, and Elaine Bredehoft, played by Marry Carrig, will represent Heard.

Johnny Depp Court Case 

In an op-ed she penned for the Washington Post in 2018 discussing her experiences with domestic abuse, Depp successfully sued his ex-wife for defamation.

Depp’s attorneys claimed that although though he wasn’t specifically mentioned in the piece, it implied that he had abused Heard, 36, when they were together, something he adamantly denies.

On June 1, the trial came to an end with a verdict in Depp’s favour. Of the $50 million in damages he claimed, he was given $8 million.

Actress Heard from Aquaman received $2 million of the $100 million countersuit after one of her counterclaims was successful.
