The six-part docuseries Prince Harry & Meghan Markle debuted on the streaming giant at 8am this morning in the UK. 1. Prince Harry worried ‘History would repeat itself’
When he married Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex admitted in one of the Harry & Meghan episodes that he worried that “history would repeat itself.” Prince Harry claimed that he feared for the welfare of his bride and believed that she would wind up like his late mother, Princess Diana. He continued by saying that he would do whatever it took to keep his family safe, regardless of what others might think.

In the couple’s shocking Netflix series, the Duke of Sussex claims he “had to resign” his royal responsibilities in order to protect Meghan.

Unexpectedly, The Duke of Sussex also discussed the British royal family’s history of mistreating women, particularly those who join as new members. Prince Harry referred to “the pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy.”

Meghan Markle recounted her “formal” private meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton in one of the episodes. The Duchess of Sussex claims to have discovered that the British royal family members observe proper protocol both in public and during private interactions.
